Premier Inn Kendal Central hotel

Had to pay for parking for 2 nights. Could not get in the carpark on the second night, so had to park away from the hotel in a public carpark. T.V.s in the rooms were not working all weekend Staff are really friendly, loverly people, made our stay so much better.

Ideal for a very early start from Kendal. Staff were polite, helpful and professional. One helped me with the parking payment machine. The room was very clean, comfy bed and super big shower. A very good but so short a stay.

Came for couple of nights just after new year had a lovely stay here with my wife. We had a nice meal in the restaurant. Was shown to our table by rose who was very helpful as my wife has a dairy allergy. Would stay here again as great location as our half way point for us to travel to see family up in Scotland.

After some recent poor reviews I was interested in how we would find our stay. We had a great stay and found all the staff super helpful and accommodating. I rang ahead as my father is disabled and in ill health and wanted to make them aware. Erin was warm and friendly on the phone. On arrival I was welcomed by Christine who showed me 3 rooms as options and we were able to book in early as my father was exhausted from the journey. The room we chose was perfect for us and it gave my father easy access to and fro from the room. Also a big shout out to Jamie who kindly got me some ice for my swollen ankle.

While the location was perhaps not ideal, the rooms were absolutely fantastic, spotless and very comfortable. The hospitality was also very good, with friendly and helpful staff. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

A very last minute night away in Kendal having not been for a few years. We often use Premier Inn but the staff at Kendal Central were particularly friendly & helpful, the food in the restaurant next door was excellent as was the service. Thoroughly recommended..!!!

Rooms we're nice and clean. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Food wasn't the greatest, fish cooked have been fried a little longer. Views were lovely, and set back in a really nice area. Carpark could be a lot bigger considering there are 90 rooms.

I’ve stayed in loads of Premier Inns, but for some reason I’d always skipped the Kendal one — no idea why, because it was great. Right in the centre, with its own car park (pay and display, limited spaces, so arrive early). I didn’t try the restaurant, but with so many brilliant places to eat in Kendal, you don’t really need it. Tried a Premier Plus room for the first time and the upgrade was absolutely worth it — more comfort, chic touches, a coffee machine, plush furnishings and better toiletries. Breakfast was the only disappointment. Day one there was no chef, so just cereal. Day two the grill was back, but it wasn’t up to the usual Premier Inn standard. Would I stay again? Despite that, yes.
